The Open movie editor is a Free video editing software Linux application for movie editing that is open source. It is surprising how well this application works.

It is relatively easy to use and quite intuitive, using tabbed supports it also has some video effect plug-in, and is QuickTime. It uses full FF MPEG support as well as timeline and a feature screen.

It has node functionality very similar to the very expensive professional software. There are a multitude of effects filters that you can use, and if you have used other free tools like shake all blender then you will find that there are very similar actions.

There is no doubt that this is a very good application that can easily satisfy the needs of most amateur movie editors. There is also functionality for the repair of poor quality video and image enhancement. The most important use is the saturation function as well as brightness which can be targeted to particular areas.
